My e mail and the future of this group - IMPORTANT

It appears that the organizer of this group has decided to close this group due to personal reasons. This is the first time I try to organize an event and I was hoping to meet fellow Cubanos/Cubichis. I now realize that the way the introduction is written invites other non cubans to the group. I personally am interested in meeting more cubans in Houston and the surrounding area. I will either be starting my own group or perhaps some of you would like to start the goup with me.

My group will be geared to Cubans and people of Cuban descent/heritage. This current meetup group as far as I know of, has only met two times. I met up with some of you at El Piquette.

Please let me know your thought because Michelle is closing the group down sometime next week. Or, I will look into opening one up soon... I guess it's up in the air. I also have a link on Facebook. And it is titled Cubans in Houston, Cubanos en Houston

I've recieved a lot of negative feedback regarding my e mail/post relating to this group is for Cubans only, etc. So, I wanted you all to know that my intentions are sincere and yes, I am wanting to meet other fellow Cubans. I'm not making any apologies about that. To be honest.. this is becoming a lot of drama! LOL Hopefully we can reconnect at El Rey. See you then! Un abrazo & cuidate!! :)
